Don't miss out on another exciting AM Connect event happening on Thursday, September 14th, 2023, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. This month's guest speaker is Thomas J. Boldt, the owner of FederalTaxSavings.com. Mr. Boldt will be talking about the Employee Retention Credit (ERC) and the ways businesses can qualify for it.
Our other guest speaker, Rachel Ramirez, is the Program Facilitator of the Robert Mayer Leadership Academy. During her presentation, she will cover the specifics of the RMLA program, the advantages for individuals who are accepted into the Leadership Academy, and the application process.
The event will be held at the HB CHAMBER OFFICE, located at 15744 Goldenwest St, Huntington Beach, CA 92647 Building A Room 137-138. You can take advantage of networking opportunities and connect with the amazing Huntington Beach business community. You'll also have a chance to showcase your brand by presenting your own business and bringing your raffle door prize.
Breakfast will be provided by NORMS, and the event is open to both members and guests. Members can attend at a discounted rate of $15, while guests can join us for $20.

PASSPORT PARKING APP EXPLAINED
After downloading the Passport app, from the main screen please do not interact with anything other than the Menu button.
From there you will access the "My Account" menu. From this menu, you will need to interact with three areas BEFORE coming to the AM Connect. Those areas are "Profile", "Payment" & "Vehicles".
Please enter your personal information and save. Then return to the "My Account" menu
where you will then access the "Payment" section:
At the top right of this page, there is an option to "add new". This will allow you to add a debit or credit card of your choice. Please do so, save your information at this time and return to the "My Account" menu where you will then access the "Vehicles" page:
After entering your vehicle information, please save. Your registration process is complete.
Upon arriving for any campus event:
You will do two things. Locate the nearest "Zone Pole" & open your app to register your parking.
To do so, you will see this screen, click "New Session" & enter the number that corresponds with
the zone you are parked in. In this case, 92649.

Good Morning Chamber Members & Guests,
Because you are attending tomorrow's AM Connect we wanted to share a couple links with you that should make tomorrow a bit easier to navigate.
This semester, GWC will commence charging for parking. Though things have changed a bit.
There will be a daily rate of $5. So, moving forward events we have on campus will be reduced to reflect that.
For this event, we have reduced the cost however there were a few that registered prior to the parking taking effect.
For those who paid the full amount online, we ask they bring in their parking validation to sign in and they will receive a refund of $5 at the door.
This is an app and you do have to register your car on it.
We would suggest you download it in advance and get it set up before you arrive.
The only thing you would have to do is input what “zone” you are parked in upon arrival (see example below).

As a reminder or for those of you joining us for the first time:
Enter Lot G. Off of Edinger, just after Off the Wall Social.
Walk the first walkway, take a left towards the sound of flowing water.
You will see a rock fountain in the courtyard of the Admin Building, The Chamber Office is to the left of the fountain.
